Cradle Of Filth are heading back across the Atlantic this fall. Buoyed by the response to their most recent North American run, the British extreme metal veterans have announced the second leg of their “Majestic In Death” tour, a stretch of dark, atmospheric shows that pairs them with Moonspell in the direct support slot, plus Worm and Black Satellite rounding out the bill across the United States and Canada.
The trek doubles as a milestone celebration, marking the 30th anniversary of the band’s landmark 1996 album Dusk… And Her Embrace. Rather than a full-album performance, though, Cradle Of Filth plan to weave select cuts from the record into the setlist over the course of the run.
Sharing the news on social media, the band wrote: “More filth North America? We heard you! The Majestic In Death tour (with selective tracks from Dusk… And Her Embrace to celebrate the 30th anniversary) continues with Part II coming your way this fall!” Meet-and-greet VIP packages will also be offered on the tour.
“Majestic In Death II” opens September 29 – The Observatory North Park, San Diego, California and threads through cities including Phoenix, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, Montreal, New York, Boston and Cleveland before closing out October 28 – Sunshine Studios Live, Colorado Springs, Colorado. Local venue presales begin Thursday, July 16 at 10 a.m. local time, with general sales following Friday, July 17 at 10 a.m. local time.
The dates arrive as Cradle Of Filth continue touring behind their latest album, The Screaming Of The Valkyries, released in March 2025 via Napalm Records. The record was the band’s first to feature guitarist Donny Burbage, the final one to feature guitarist Marek “Ashok” Šmerda, and the only studio album to include keyboardist and vocalist Zoe Marie Federoff — the latter two having since exited the group, a departure that led to a lawsuit against frontman Dani “Filth” Davey and the band’s management, which the singer has denied any wrongdoing over. The band has since carried on with new guitarist Joff Bailey.
