British extreme metal icons Cradle of Filth are heading back to the United States next year. The band has officially announced a spring 2026 tour that will see them traversing the country throughout May. Joining them on the trek is a powerful support lineup featuring death metal legends Suffocation, alongside Ghost Bath and Cultus Black.

Tickets for the tour are scheduled to go on sale to the general public this Friday, December 12, at 10:00 a.m. local time.

The run kicks off in Texas at the end of April and includes stops at major festivals such as Welcome To Rockville and Sonic Temple before concluding in Denver.

  • May 23 – Denver, CO – Gothic Theater

The tour announcement arrives as frontman Dani Filth continues to defend the band’s structure amidst lineup changes. In a March 2025 interview with Terry Palamara of “Loud And Proud Italy,” Filth pushed back against the narrative that Cradle of Filth is merely a solo project disguised as a band.

“I’m too busy to release a blooming solo record,” Filth stated. “And, yeah, if it was just me, it’d be called Dani Filth, and it’s not — it’s called Cradle of Filth.”

Addressing the turnover of musicians over the years, Filth attributed departures to the grueling nature of the industry rather than internal dictatorship.

“People leave the band because it’s just a lot of commitment, a lot of hard work, a lot of traveling, a lot of mental disrepair,” he explained. “As in the case of our previous guitarist, people leave to start families and find that the lifestyle is a bit too hectic … or they just think they can do it better or just drift apart.”

He emphasized that membership in the group requires active creative participation, citing the collective effort on their latest album, The Screaming Of The Valkyries.

“It’s very important to be a family when you join our band, and as a musician joining [Cradle] — well, any band, I guess, nowadays, you have to wear many hats,” Filth said. “So it’s not just being a pretty face. In Cradle of Filth, you have to write, contribute toward the album… And then you’ve gotta do other things. You’ve gotta speak to people, meet-and-greets, videos.”

The band’s internal affairs have been under scrutiny recently. Earlier this year, six former members filed a lawsuit against Filth and the group’s management. This legal action followed the departure of guitarist Marek “Ashok” Šmerda and keyboardist Zoe Marie Federoff in August, who left citing grievances regarding pay and contracts. Filth has previously stated he would not let “unfounded slander” diminish the band’s work.
