Maryland hard rock veterans Clutch have officially announced a brand new United States tour scheduled for the fall of 2026. The three-week trek will kick off in mid-October and run through early November, featuring support from Slomosa and Blood Vulture. Additionally, the run includes a special festival appearance at the inaugural Fort Worth, Texas edition of Sick New World.
Tickets for the upcoming tour will go on sale to the general public this Friday, May 8, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
In addition to their live schedule, Clutch has been writing new music for their upcoming fourteenth studio album, which is tentatively slated for release before the end of the year. The group recently entered the studio with Grammy-winning producer Gene “Machine” Freeman, who has famously worked with heavyweights like Lamb Of God and Kyng. The producer is a familiar face to the band, having previously helmed the recording sessions for 2004’s Blast Tyrant, 2013’s Earth Rocker, and 2015’s Psychic Warfare. This creative reunion marks a change in direction, as the band had previously announced plans to work with producer Tom Dalgety before ultimately altering course.
Since forming three decades ago, Seneca Valley High School classmates Neil Fallon (vocals), Tim Sult (guitar), Dan Maines (bass), and Jean-Paul Gaster (drums) have maintained an unshakable personal and musical bond. Coming up in the same regional scene that birthed legendary hardcore punk acts like Bad Brains, Minor Threat, and Rites Of Spring, the Germantown quartet developed a unique sound blending hardcore fury with fuzzy, athletic rock and hyper-literate lyricism.
Across thirteen studio albums, Clutch has cultivated a fiercely loyal fan base drawn to their authentic community and live experience. Their dedicated following is often compared to the deep devotion seen with acts like The Grateful Dead, Rush, and The Allman Brothers. Much like legacy artists such as Slayer or Iron Maiden, the group has achieved incredible longevity by refusing to chase trends or rely on replicating a single hit song. Over the years, their undeniable live reputation has led to major tours alongside a diverse range of bands, including System Of A Down, Dropkick Murphys, Killswitch Engage, and Mastodon.
