Bullet For My Valentine have been announced as the new direct support for Limp Bizkit’s upcoming “Loserville” tour of Latin America, which kicks off this month. The Welsh metal band will be replacing the previously announced platinum-selling alt-rocker Yungblud, whose reasons for dropping off the bill have not been made public.
For Bullet For My Valentine, the high-profile slot provides a new opportunity to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their gold-selling debut album, The Poison. The band had previously scrapped a planned anniversary tour with Trivium earlier in the year amid controversy, but will now bring the special show to South America, performing The Poison in its entirety.
The band shared their excitement in a statement posted to social media yesterday, November 13:
“South America!! We are so happy that we finally get to come and see you all and perform The Poison in its entirety one last time!! We’ll be supporting the one and only @limpbizkit on their Loserville Tour and can’t wait to end the year in style with you all. It’s gonna be a mad one. See you soon.”
The rest of the “Loserville” lineup remains intact, featuring 311, Ecca Vandal, Riff Raff, and Slay Squad.
While the support slot is now filled, a major question still surrounds the headliners. It has not yet been clarified who will be performing bass duties for Limp Bizkit following the recent death of their co-founding bassist, Sam Rivers.
The “Loserville” Latin American tour dates are as follows:
- 11/29 – Mexico City, MEX – Explanada del Estadio Banorte
- 12/02 – San Jose, CRI – Parque Viva
- 12/05 – Bogota, COL – Estadio el Campin
