KISS history was made in Las Vegas on Saturday night, November 15, as former guitarist Bruce Kulick reunited with the band on stage for the first time since their 2023 farewell tour. The special appearance took place during KISS‘ first full electric, “unmasked” concert at the “KISS Kruise: Landlocked In Vegas” fan event at Virgin Hotels.

Kulick, who was KISS‘ lead guitarist for 12 years during their non-makeup era (1984-1996), joined Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Tommy Thayer, and Eric Singer for the event’s grand finale. The reunited lineup closed the 16-song set by performing two of the band’s most enduring anthems: “Lick It Up” and “Rock And Roll All Nite.”

The setlist for the rare “unmasked” performance was packed with classics, including “Deuce,” “Hotter Than Hell,” “Black Diamond,” and “Detroit Rock City.” You can watch the fan-filmed footage down below.

Kulick‘s appearance is particularly significant given his public comments about being excluded from KISS‘ final farewell show at Madison Square Garden in December 2023. In a June 2025 interview with “Get On The Bus“, Kulick explained his disappointment with how the band’s history was handled at the MSG show.

“I will admit I was very verbal about the final show that I didn’t feel they handled that right, which was very out of character for me,” Kulick said at the time. “But I knew that that was the sentiment of the fans, where they [felt that Paul and Gene] didn’t celebrate Kisstory on the final show, and that opportunity was there for them.”

Despite that snub, Kulick has always maintained a respectful relationship with his former bandmates. He emphasized in the same interview that he prefers to “celebrate KISS” rather than engage in public feuds, a philosophy that made last night’s reunion possible.

“It’s very much to my benefit, and probably theirs, to have this mutual respect moving forward,” Kulick stated. “I don’t need to be the guy who has to get publicity from having rows with them and fighting with them, or complaining about them… I respect what they’ve done.”
