Black Sabbath Launches ‘Back To The Beginning’ Merch — But It’s Not Cheap

As Black Sabbath prepare for their final show this Saturday, July 5 at Villa Park, they’ve dropped exclusive “Back to the Beginning” merch — but it won’t come cheap.

Back To The Beginning Black Sabbath 2025

As Black Sabbath gear up for their final live performance this Saturday, July 5 at Villa Park in Birmingham, they’ve unveiled a special line of official merchandise to commemorate the monumental “Back to the Beginning” farewell concert. But fans hoping to grab a souvenir should brace themselves — this merch comes with some hefty price tags.

The exclusive collection is now available through Ozzy Osbourne’s official UK store and celebrates what many are calling the most important moment in the band’s storied history. Not only does this gig mark Ozzy Osbourne’s last-ever stage appearance, but it also brings together all four founding members — Ozzy, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward — for their first full reunion in over 20 years.

But saying goodbye to legends isn’t cheap.

Here’s a look at some of the prices:

  • Hoodie – $125
  • T-shirt – $63
  • Longsleeve – $84
  • Commemorative coin – $70

Still, that isn’t stopping fans. With the concert expected to draw tens of thousands and a surrounding festival lineup that includes Metallica, Slayer, Tool, Pantera, Alice In Chains, and more, demand for both tickets and memorabilia is already surging. In total, Birmingham is preparing for an influx of nearly 300,000 visitors for what’s being described as one of the city’s largest cultural weekends ever.

And the economic impact is just as massive. According to the West Midlands Growth Company, the event could inject up to £20 million (roughly $27 million USD) into the local economy — boosting everything from hotels and restaurants to small businesses and live venues.

The timing couldn’t be more symbolic. Just last weekend, the original members of Black Sabbath were awarded the Freedom of the City of Birmingham at a ceremony held at the historic Council House. Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler, and Bill Ward were each presented with official scrolls and medals by the Lord Mayor, Councillor Zafar Iqbal. The honor, one of the UK’s oldest civic traditions, recognizes the band’s profound contribution to the musical and cultural identity of their hometown and their pioneering role in shaping the global legacy of heavy metal.

Whether you’re attending in person or just want a piece of history, the “Back to the Beginning” merch is more than just memorabilia — it’s a final salute to the band that started it all.
