BABYMETAL have unveiled their latest single, “from me to u,” featuring Poppy. This new track marks the second single from their forthcoming album, Metal Forth.
BABYMETAL commented on the new track, stating:
“A kawaii metal song was born from a collaboration between BABYMETAL and Poppy! Check out Poppy‘s shouts and BABYMETAL‘s dance in the Neo Tokyo setting! Kawaii is sprinkled throughout the intense sound! Kimi ni todoke!”
Poppy also spoke about the collaboration, commenting:
“I have been a fan of BABYMETAL for years and I am so happy for this song to finally be here! They have inspired me so much—enjoy ‘from me to u‘!”

BABYMETAL recently joined Capitol Records, which is set to release their upcoming album, Metal Forth, on June 13. The album’s title, meaning “beyond metal,” reflects its diverse collaborations, featuring artists such as Poppy, Spiritbox, Tom Morello, Bloodywood, Polyphia, and Slaughter to Prevail, musicians BABYMETAL has bonded with throughout their global tours. The album will also include their hit track “Ratatata” with Electric Callboy, which has already amassed millions of streams across various platforms.
The song is accompanied by a visually striking video that blends their signature choreography with a futuristic world on the brink of collapse. As the intensity builds, the video reaches a surreal climax, with Poppy joining the trio in this chaotic vision and undergoing a dramatic transformation—emerging as a dragon amidst the ruins.
Starting May 10, BABYMETAL will launch their first-ever headlining arena tour in Europe, performing 12 shows across eight countries with support from Poppy and Bambie Thug. The tour will conclude on May 30 at London’s O2 Arena, making BABYMETAL the first Japanese group to headline this legendary venue.
Their biggest North American tour to date will kick off in Houston on June 13, coinciding with the release of their new album. The 24-date run will feature support from Black Veil Brides, Jinjer, and Bloodywood on select dates, making stops in major cities like Atlanta, New York, Philadelphia, Toronto, Chicago, and San Francisco before wrapping up in Phoenix on July 23.
Additionally, the band has announced arena shows in Japan and a tour across Asia. Alongside their headlining performances, BABYMETAL has previously shared the stage with artists such as Lady Gaga, Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Avenged Sevenfold.
