Babymetal are marking this year’s Fox Day with a massive announcement, unveiling plans for an extensive 2026 North American tour. The genre-defying trio will be joined on the road by Halestorm and rising act Violent Vira, promising a powerful lineup across the U.S. and Canada.
The tour is set to bring Babymetal’s signature blend of high-energy choreography and crushing metal to major venues throughout late summer and beyond. Fans eager to secure their spot can access tickets starting with an artist presale on Monday, April 6 at 10 a.m. local time. A Citi presale will also kick off the same day, followed by additional presales during the week. General ticket sales begin Friday, April 10 at 10 a.m. local time.
In addition to hitting the road, Babymetal are expanding on one of their biggest recent releases. The band will issue Metal Forth (Deluxe Edition) on June 26, 2026 via Capitol Records. The expanded version will be available both digitally and on vinyl, featuring a unique zoetrope design that animates ten symbols from the album when in motion. The deluxe package will also include three live recordings from the era, along with two fresh remixes of “From Me To U (Feat. Poppy)” by Major Lazer and Jordan Fish.
Originally released last year, Metal Forth — a title meaning “beyond metal” — made a major impact by debuting at No. 9 on the Billboard 200. The achievement marked Babymetal’s first Top 10 appearance in the U.S., and notably, the first time an all-Japanese fronted group reached that milestone. Since then, the album has accumulated more than 200 million streams globally and sold 36,000 equivalent units in its debut week.
The upcoming trek kicks off on August 30 in San Diego, California, where Babymetal will appear at Petco Park* before making their way across North America. Along the way, the band will take the stage in cities such as Chicago, Toronto, Raleigh, Dallas, and Phoenix, as well as perform at major events including Louder Than Life in Louisville on September 19** and Aftershock Festival in Sacramento on October 3**.
