Swedish theatrical metal giants Avatar are officially preparing to close out the year with a massive European headline tour. Coming off a colossal summer that includes supporting heavy metal legends Metallica on their global stadium run, dominating iconic European festival stages, and completing an extensive trek through Australia, the band will return to Europe to end the year on their own terms.

The newly announced “Don’t Go In The Forest ’26” winter run will launch on November 20 in Wolverhampton, England, and carve a path across the continent before wrapping up on December 19 in Wrocław, Poland. Joining the theatrical metal act as direct support for the entire duration of the tour will be rising Danish death metal outfit Neckbreakker.

General ticket sales are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, May 26, at 10:00 a.m. local time through the band’s official website.

Looking forward to the harsh winter conditions and the band’s impending return, dynamic frontman Johannes Eckerström issued the following complete statement to their European fanbase:

“A Europe in November. A Europe in December. Cold, wet and dark. We all know what it’s like, and we know exactly what you’ll need. The first European leg made us feel very lucky to be doing this. This time around, we will do everything within our power to make you feel lucky to participate. We live by but one ethos: Better than ever. I really want to see you, and you really don’t want to miss this.”

The upcoming dates are in continued support of the band’s milestone tenth studio album, Don’t Go In The Forest, which arrived last October via Black Waltz Records. Serving as the direct follow-up to 2023’s critically acclaimed Dance Devil Dance, the latest record was helmed by veteran producer Jay Ruston, whose extensive resume includes definitive modern work with legacy acts such as Anthrax, Steel Panther, and Uriah Heep.
