Frontman Tim Lambesis has previously reflected on the emotional and creative impact of revisiting the band’s 2007 record, noting how the anniversary celebration has influenced their current artistic direction.

“I’ve had an incredible time celebrating Shadows Are Security over the past year and reconnecting with the mindset that shaped that album in the earliest days of As I Lay Dying. Reflecting on that chapter has been both nostalgic and deeply motivating—it’s reminded me of a spark that was always there, and that renewed perspective has absolutely influenced the way I’ve approached writing for the new album. These final anniversary dates are a chance to celebrate that connection one last time with the fans who have been part of this journey.”
