Rock legend Alice Cooper experienced a stroke of good luck earlier this month after accidentally leaving his credit card at a gas station pump while golfing in Payson, Arizona.
Local resident Geoff Guy discovered the lost card and immediately recognized the famous name printed on the back. Acting quickly, he reached out to the musician’s management team to arrange a safe return before Cooper departed the country for a five-week European tour.
The successful handoff took place on Monday morning, June 8, at Alice Cooper‘s Teen Center in Phoenix. Local news affiliate 12News was present to capture the meetup between the rock icon and the Good Samaritan.
“The guy is a legend for people of my generation. That’s for sure, and I’m really glad I could help get it back to him,” Guy said during the exchange.
Alice Cooper officially left for his European dates on Tuesday. Later this year, the shock-rock pioneer is scheduled to release his highly anticipated autobiography, “Devil On My Shoulder“. Published by Ebury Spotlight, the book will arrive on October 8. To support the release, Cooper will embark on an intimate eight-date speaking tour across the UK, featuring a moderated conversation, audience Q&A session and special guests.
