A trio of metal’s most prominent and versatile vocalists have joined forces on a powerful new single, “End of You.” Evanescence‘s Amy Lee, Spiritbox‘s Courtney LaPlante, and genre-bending artist Poppy collaborated on the track, which arrived with a striking music video via Sumerian Records.

The single had been teased just last week with a cryptic joint post on social media, immediately sending fans into a frenzy of speculation. The song itself is a commanding and cathartic anthem of empowerment, with the trio delivering a unifying message in the chorus: “the end of you is the start of life for me.” Each artist brings their signature style to the track, blending Poppy‘s experimental edge, Lee‘s haunting melodic power, and LaPlante‘s dynamic vocal range, which shifts from soaring cleans to visceral screams.

The collaboration comes at a high point for all three artists, each of whom is in the midst of a significant creative era.

Amy Lee and Evanescence are currently in the studio finalizing their next studio album, which is expected to arrive in 2026. The band recently celebrated their first-ever No. 1 at U.S. Rock Radio with the single “Afterlife,” a song featured in the Netflix series Devil May Cry. Their timeless 2003 debut album, Fallen, continues to find new audiences, having sold over 17 million copies worldwide. Later this year, the band is set to tour stadiums in Australia and New Zealand with Metallica.

Spiritbox, fronted by Courtney LaPlante, has cemented its place as a leader in modern heavy music. The band’s critically acclaimed sophomore album, Tsunami Sea, debuted at No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Hard Rock Albums chart. The band has also earned back-to-back Grammy nominations for their work on the Fear of Fear EP and has proven their crossover appeal through collaborations with artists like Megan Thee Stallion.

Meanwhile, Poppy is fresh off a Grammy nomination for “Best Metal Performance” for her collaboration with Knocked Loose on “Suffocate.” Her creative output remains prolific and diverse, spanning music, video direction, and even graphic novels. She is currently on the second leg of her sold-out “They’re All Around Us” tour, celebrating her latest album, Negative Spaces.
