Alex Terrible, the distinctive vocalist for Russian deathcore powerhouse Slaughter To Prevail, has recently captivated fans with a new solo offering. Yesterday, June 23rd, the singer — also known for his bare-knuckle boxing aspirations — uploaded his rendition of German industrial metal icons Rammstein’s 2002 single, “Feuer Frei!”.
This individual project from Terrible comes as Slaughter To Prevail prepares for a significant band release. The group has officially set July 18th, 2025, as the release date for their highly anticipated new album, GRIZZLY, through Sumerian Records.
The announcement of GRIZZLY was accompanied by the unveiling of a new single and music video for “Russian Grizzly In America.” This visually striking video features a towering animatronic bear alongside UFC heavyweight fighter Alexander Volkov, creating a bold statement for the album’s lead track.
Slaughter To Prevail believes GRIZZLY represents a new peak in their discography. Alex offered insights into the diligent work invested in its creation. “I think this is the best album we have ever written. We put so much effort into it. We spent a lot of time on every detail and really poured our souls into the songs,” Terrible explained. He contrasted this process with previous albums, noting: “In the past, we were always rushing to finish albums and just releasing whatever we had. This time, we took our time, worked carefully on each track, and made sure everything was exactly how we wanted it. Hopefully it was all worth it.”
The GRIZZLY album is set to feature a blend of previously released popular singles and new compositions. Among the new tracks are guest appearances from Ronnie Radke and Babymetal, adding new approach to the band’s sound.
The complete tracklist for GRIZZLY is as follows:
- “Banditos”
- “Russian Grizzly In America”
- “Imdead” (feat. Ronnie Radke)
- “Babayka”
