Acid Bath will play the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio on November 6 with Twin Tribes, Kylesa and The Atlas Moth.
In April 2025, Acid Bath played their first concert in 28 years. By the end of this year they will have played arenas, Red Rocks and a rooftop on the East River.
The Louisiana band have added a ninth 2026 date, booking the Boeing Center at Tech Port in San Antonio for Friday, November 6. Twin Tribes, Kylesa and The Atlas Moth fill out the bill.

The San Antonio show extends two of the year’s recurring partnerships. Twin Tribes have also been booked alongside Acid Bath at Red Rocks and Chicago with Ministry, while Kylesa share the bill again after the Asheville date with Neurosis and Melvins. The Atlas Moth are new to the run.

The scale of that schedule would have been hard to imagine two years ago. Acid Bath formed around Houma, Louisiana in 1991 and released two albums, When The Kite String Pops in 1994 and Paegan Terrorism Tactics in 1996, before ending after bassist Audie Pitre was killed in a car accident in January 1997. The band stayed dead for nearly three decades while its reputation kept growing.
The reunion was announced in October 2024 for Sick New World, with the first show following in their home state the next April. Three original members are involved: vocalist Dax Riggs, and guitarists Sammy Duet and Mike Sanchez. Bassist Shane Wesley of Crowbar and drummer Zack Simmons of Goatwhore complete the live lineup. Original drummer Jimmy Kyle is not taking part, and original keyboardist Tommy Viator died in 2024.
Between the current dates, Acid Bath have already been booked this year alongside Danzig at the Honda Center, Obituary and Thou in New York and High On Fire in Santa Cruz.
