AC/DC Adelaide 2025

High-definition footage has emerged capturing rock legends AC/DC in their element during the Adelaide stop of their massive Power Up world tour. The Australian broadcast network 7NEWS has released a pro-shot clip of the band performing the seminal anthem “If You Want Blood (You’ve Got It)” during their headlining appearance at the bp Adelaide Grand Final on November 30. You can watch it down below.

The performance was a major draw for the Supercars event, reportedly contributing to a record-breaking Sunday attendance of 102,000 spectators.

The Adelaide show is part of the band’s first run of Australian dates in a decade, a homecoming that has been making waves both culturally and geologically. Reports confirm that the tour’s kickoff in Melbourne on November 12 generated enough ground vibration to register on local seismographs used to detect earthquake activity.

The sheer scale of the Power Up production explains the impact. According to data published by Billboard, the current stage setup utilizes 300 tons of steel and features a massive audio array weighing 28 tons. The operation is powered by 500kw of energy per night and is maintained by a traveling crew of 155 personnel.

The current touring lineup features classic members Angus Young (lead guitar) and Brian Johnson (vocals) alongside rhythm guitarist Stevie Young, who officially stepped in for the late Malcolm Young in 2014. The rhythm section has been revamped for this cycle, featuring drummer Matt Laug—filling the seat of Phil Rudd—and former Jane’s Addiction bassist Chris Chaney, who replaced the retired Cliff Williams earlier this year.

Following the Adelaide triumph, AC/DC will continue their Australian trek with shows in Perth and Brisbane throughout December. The band is then scheduled to take the tour to South and North America in 2026, including stadium dates in São Paulo, Mexico City, and a massive run through the United States and Canada next summer.

  • December 4 – Perth, WA – Optus Stadium
  • December 8 – Perth, WA – Optus Stadium
  • December 14 – Brisbane, QLD – Suncorp Stadium
  • December 18 – Brisbane, QLD – Suncorp Stadium
