Fans of the legendary rock band AC/DC are getting an immersive new way to celebrate the group’s highly anticipated 2026 North American stadium run. It has been officially announced that the free-to-enter AC/DC PWR/UP Pop Up will launch in every single city on the tour, creating a dedicated gathering space for fans to connect before the concerts.
As the massive “Power Up” world tour enters its final leg, these pop-up locations will travel directly alongside the band. The tour itself takes its name from the group’s highly successful 2020 studio album, Power Up (stylized as PWR/UP), which famously skyrocketed to the No. 1 spot in 21 different countries. Following their triumphant return to the stage at the Power Trip festival in California back in 2023, the band has successfully sold out dozens of massive stadiums across four continents.
Each unique pop-up experience is specifically tailored to its host city and venue, allowing local character to shine while remaining connected to the overarching tour. The chosen locations serve as established hubs for local music culture, where fans naturally gather.
Attendees can look forward to exploring a highly curated selection of exclusive pop-up merchandise and rare fan collectibles. This includes premium apparel, accessories, posters, and limited-edition items created solely for the pop-up shops. Furthermore, fans in each city will receive early access to a limited quantity of official city-specific event shirts and posters one full day before they are made available online or inside the stadium.
To complete the pre-show atmosphere, these locations will feature customized AC/DC-themed food and drink menus, with select stops offering specialty items and custom collectible cups. Certain venues will also highlight local radio broadcasts and live performances from regional School of Rock house bands to elevate the city-specific energy.
Before officially opening to the general public, each city will host a special PWR/UP Fan Preview event for press, media, and partners. However, 100 lucky fans per city will also be selected via a random draw to enter the preview early and receive a free, exclusive gift. Fans can register for a chance to attend at the official tour website.
Throughout the duration of the North American run, the pop-ups will offer a variety of exclusive in-person giveaways, including concert tickets, merch prize packs, VIP bags, and more.
One of the main attractions at each stop will be a mock stage environment where fans can snap photos with a replica Angus Young guitar. Attendees can enter on-site for a chance to win the instrument at the conclusion of the tour. After traveling to every single pop-up location, the guitar will be personally signed by Angus Young in Philadelphia and awarded to one eligible fan. Additionally, U.S.-based pop-ups will give fans the chance to win a brand-new AC/DC-themed pinball machine manufactured by Stern Pinball.
