Aaron Lewis has announced the 12-date “Acoustic Origins” tour, opening 4 November in Lubbock, Texas.
Aaron Lewis will spend November playing alone with an acoustic guitar. The Staind frontman has announced “Acoustic Origins“, a run of twelve theatre and casino dates opening on 4 November at the Buddy Holly Hall in Lubbock and finishing on 21 November at Downstream Casino in Quapaw, Oklahoma.

The stripped-back setting marks a shift from how Lewis has spent most of the year. He has been out on the “2026 American Tour” with his band The Stateliners, playing the new material in full-band arrangements. “Acoustic Origins” swaps that for solo performances built around older songs, lesser-played tracks and the accounts behind them.
Give My Country Back came out on 17 July through Big Machine Label Group and is Lewis‘ sixth solo country album, following 2024’s The Hill. It runs to ten tracks and reached number one on the iTunes country albums chart.
Sol Philcox-Littlefield produced. Lewis co-wrote five of the songs with Jeffrey Steele and Bobby Pinson, with further contributions from Casey Bethard and Travis Meadows among others.
Lewis has described the record as being about accountability and self-determination.
“That’s life’s struggle right there,” he said when it was announced. “You are the master of your own destiny, and everything happens because of your actions — whether you want to admit it or not. Self-ownership is a huge thing to learn how to do in this life, and it’s always an internal battle.”
The title track, released as the first single, is a “patriotic” song that Lewis has described as rooted in freedom and in his own frustration with the current political situation in the United States. The album’s other stated themes are resilience, faith and personal growth.
Lewis has been making country records for more than fifteen years while remaining Staind‘s singer. He grew up in Springfield, Vermont listening to his grandparents’ country eight-tracks, and returned to that material for Town Line and Sinner, both of which entered Billboard’s country albums chart at number one. “Am I The Only One” did the same on the Hot Country Songs chart in 2021, only the ninth song to debut in that position since 1958, and went on to gold certification.
His platinum single “Country Boy” featured George Jones and Charlie Daniels, and he has also recorded with Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss and Vince Gill. His catalogue has passed 5.7 billion streams, and in 2024 Pandora presented him with its Billionaires Plaque for surpassing a billion plays on that platform alone.
